Questions about the eWall cover
What is eWall?
eWall is the name of an innovative fabric with an extraordinary capacity for protection. eWall screen almost completely the direct radiations sent out by your terminal (over 99%). By combining a sleeve eWall and a headset, the thermal impact (SAR) can also be reduced by almost 100%. Renowned experts, such as the Army University of Munich in Germany, have confirmed the high shielding ability of this tissue.
Does eWall modify the operation of my phone? When the cell phone is in the pocket inside eWall, your phone will have no network cover, the waves are blocked in every direction. You can use this method in meetings, restaurants, cinemas ... Some models continue to search for the mobile network when it is cut and then emit their maximum capacity. Accordingly, the battery may be drained more quickly. You can check your mobile phone features with the manufacturer. When the mobile is in the side pocket of eWall, the operation of the phone is not affected and exposure to radiations is reduced drastically with the eWall facing the body.
Can I hear well through the eWall cover? eWall cuts off the radiation but not sound. When using eWall between the ear and the phone, the volume will be slightly reduced. Simply adjust the volume on your phone a little higher.

Is it possible to stop all the waves and radiations with the eWall cover?
Place the phone at work or in your spare time in the large compartment of the cover eWall, fold the outer flap and seal it completely with the rubber band, half a minute after hyour phone will be without coverage and no one will interrupt you. In the vicinity of antenna signal amplifier (within 100 meters), in some cases it was observed that due to extremely high values of radiation, despite having closed properly the eWall mobile cover, it may occur to receive calls. In this case, it is not due to a deficiency of the product. Take your mobile after 30 seconds inside the sleeve eWall and you can notice on the screen a significant reduction of the reception. Approximately 20 seconds after removing it will again have a complete reception.
Which cover fits with my mobile ? The overall size of the models Classic, Retro and Moving is the same and fits most phones. However, Classic or Retro sleeves are best suited for small mobile because they have shorter small compartment. Conversely, the Moving model has a small compartment higher to keep longer phones perfectly. Finally, the XL line models are wider to agree with the wider phones like the iPhone, Blackberry or other Smartphone all. Therefore, every phone has a sleeve adapted.
How can I wash my eWall cover ? eWall sleeves can be washed by hand but also in the washing machine to 30° C.

Questions about the electromagnetic contamination
What is electromagnetic pollution? Electromagnetic pollution (sometimes called electromagnetic smog) is a physical phenomenon that describes the exposure to electromagnetic fields emitted by electrical appliances (radios, base stations, power lines etc) .. The term "pollution" emphasizes the harmful effects on the environment.
Is electromagnetic pollution dangerous?
Despite controversy, scientists cannot say that the electromagnetic waves emitted by mobile phones do not actually have some health risks. "The zero risk doesn’t exist!" says Rüdiger Matthes for the German National Center for Radiation Protection. The World Health Organization (WHO) recognizes that the shortcomings in this regard are numerous. While very few studies are funded by the telephone industry, 83% of Europeans still believe that mobile phone use may damage their health, according to a study of 2008. France officially recommends using the hand kit and headset when talking, phone off when not using it, It also has been banned in schools. In Spain, after having finally lowered the level of emission of the antennas (still well above other European countries), the health ministry has a pamphlet on "appropriate use of mobile phones". There are also several blogs and websites treating the subject (http://www.avaate.org, http://www.apdr.info, http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/factsheet/risk/cellphones)
In general, we are awaiting the arrival of the much publicized first independent study (public funded) INTERPHONE in several countries. After two years of delays and complications coming from related industries, there are already some very interesting intermediate results, see http://www.apdr.info, http://www.haaretz.com
What is the influence of electromagnetic fields for the body? Laboratory tests have shown that electromagnetic fields from mobile phones causes changes in nerve function and balance of water and minerals in the body. It also promotes the growth of cancer cells, probably by facilitating the intrusion of carcinogens into cells. There is still no concrete proof of the harmfulness of high-frequency radiation, but the research is still very thin because mobile phone technology is relatively young. A final conclusion is impossible at this time, prevention however would seem to be prudent.
I’ve heard of the saliva test, what is it? The saliva test has been developed by Professor Bernd Kröplin (59) Institute of Statics and Dynamics of the University of Stuttgart, Germany. "With the mobile phone, the body must handle a storm of electromagnetic waves. The body defends itself against this attack. The result: the crystals and minerals are disrupted. Under a microscope, we see that saliva changed after only two minutes of talking with your mobile phone. The Saliva changes of structure. The latest findings of Professor Kröplin: blood and urine are also affected. Kröplin Prof.: "We can say that the organization of body fluids is interrupted."
Why does my ear feel heat when using the phone? It is called the thermal effect and has been studied more than the other effects of radiation. A temperature increase of less than 1 ° C is usually without consequence and considered safe for the body, nevertheless long calls can result in an intense discomfort. eWall also protects you from the thermal effect, so gives a pleasant/comfy feeling to your phone.
Are electromagnetic waves from mobile phones have an impact on memory? Professor Gerald Huth (55), research in Neurology at the University of Göttingen, Germany: "We do not know. If you damage the brain waves, no doubt it will mainly affect the sensitive parts of the frontal lobe." This part hosts among others, our memory.
Are children are most at risk? Dr. Eder: "The skull of children is less thick, they have less body fat and muscle mass that could reduce the radiation”. It advises parents to let their children use mobile phones only in emergencies, which limits their use to an absolute minimum.
How to protect ourselves against electromagnetic waves? Even those who do not use mobile phones are exposed to electromagnetic waves. The only way to protect ourselves is minimizing the sources of radiation. The steps are: - Keep mobile phone away from the body when it is used - Use the handsfree for calls, holding the phone to the maximum distance that allows the cable, which reduces the impact to the head. - Ring preferably in areas where reception is of high quality - Avoid calls from high-speed trains and in general for all rapid movements. (Your phone will intensly search for an antenna base) - Choose a mobile phone with a low SAR (microwave level exposure while using a mobile phone, knowing that for example 2W/Kg. is the statutory maximum in France) - An effective protection is the use of shielded tissues. With eWall, the burden is minimized.

What are the Interphone studies?
Interphone Studies is the name given to a series of multinational studies of control cases to assess whether exposure to RF from mobile phones is associated with cancer risk. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) is coordinating the study. It also examines other potential environmental risk factors and endogenous. The cancers being studied are the auditory neuroma, glioma, and meningioma, and tumors of the parotid gland. Participating countries include Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, and the UK. The main Interphone study investigators published a paper that provides details on epidemiological methods and a description of the population of the study (Cardis and colleagues, 2007). The population includes cases of 2.765 of gliomas, 2425 ofmeningiomas, 1.121 of acoustic neuromas, 109 of malignant tumors of the parotid gland and 7.658 controls. The paper analyzes the potential memory, willingness to participate and their impact on results. The results of nine of them have been published. An excess of tumors was found in heavy users for a decade, but the results are not always statistically significant. Hence the expectation regards the publication of aggregate results. Reversing the "differences in good faith," says Elisabeth Cardis study leaders are divided into three approximately equal-sized groups: those who believe that the increase of the number of tumors found in users is only due to statistical biases, those who believe that truly harmful effect of radio frequency waves, and the last third think that it is not possible to draw a conclusion either way. Hence the "great efforts compromised," the teacher does mention Cardis, who hopes the study may be submitted in September, to be published in a scientific journal. "This study will have consequences too important to be issued lightly, he says. If there are still doubts, convictions need to be forged as scientifically possible." Even if you do not allow completely Interphone, some precautions have been recommended, especially for the French Ministry for Health (keep the phone more than a meter while it is communicating, not authorize its use by children under twelve years) and some measures were demanded by scientists. Other international studies on the effects of radio frequency waves emitted by cell phones have been launched in Northern Europe: concern cancers and neurodegenerative diseases, extends Cosmos several years on a population Cefalo is interested in brain tumors in children aged five to 14 years. Fourteen countries, most of them with participation in Interphone, should also launch the Mobikids study, funded by the European Commission to evaluate the effect of exposure to radio waves during childhood and adolescence.
What is the Bioinitiative study? A new report raises concerns about the effects of electromagnetic fields of extremely low frequency (ELF) on human health, drawing attention to the need for strict standards of security in mobile telephony, power lines and other sources of exposure in our daily life. The report "Bioiniciativa (BioInitiative Report): A standards based on public exposure to electromagnetic fields on the basis of biology" was conducted by the working group Bioiniciativa, an international group of scientists, researchers and professionals from public health policies. The EEA has contributed to this new report with a chapter drawn from a study of the EEA itself "Recent lessons of the early warnings: the precautionary principle 1896-2000 published in 2001."
University at Albany, New York, 31 de Agosto "The report provides detailed scientific information on health impacts when people are exposed to electromagnetic radiation hundreds or thousands of times below the limits set by the U.S. FCC as ICNIRP. The authors reviewed over 2,000 scientific studies and work, and have concluded that existing levels of public safety are inadequate to protect public health. From the standpoint of public health policies, new safety limits and limits for further development of risk technologies are justified based on the total weight of the evidence. " "The public health expert and co-editor of the Report Dr. David Carpenter, Director of the Institute of Health and Environment at the University of Albany, New York, says:" This report supports a wake up call to make clear that the long-term exposure of some kinds of EMF electromagnetic fields can cause serious health effects. Good public health planning is needed now to prevent cancers and neurological diseases linked to exposure to power lines and other sources of EMF. We need to educate people and our politicians that "business as usual" is unacceptable. "
